Haywire’s first collection was inspired by the beauty of sharp objects, heartbreaks and ‘cat’ scratches. It was designed whilst repeatedly listening to ‘Cactus’ by The Pixies, so thank you for the music!
The idea of turning personal scars into an object of adornment and transforming one’s sorrows, anger and hardships into beautiful treasures that everyone can wear as a reminder of one’s strength in overcoming obstacles, is the main symbolism surrounding these pieces.
Each jewel has been paired with semi-precious stones promoting catharsis and wellbeing so that positivity may bring balance to sometimes unwanted feelings.
